One of my favourite memories was most likely when I was at my house with my mom, my sister, my uncle, my grandpa and my dogs. It was nice to have a quiet christmas because most of the time I end up celebrating many little christmases on each side of the family and with different relatives. For this one we were finally at home being able to watch Netflix and just eat a lot of food and relax. No travelling, no hassles and no waiting too long to eat food. I enjoyed it because I was really happy to see family and for once have a quiet christmas. I liked the weather because not only was it not too cold out, it also had the perfect amount of snow that just looked so beautiful in the sunlight. It was my favourite memory of christmas and my definition of christmas.
ReplyDeleteVery Interesting!
DeleteOne of my favourite memories were when me and my siblings were young enough to believe in Santa. It was a very christmasy christmas, I don't know how to explain it. We decorated the house very nicely, and did small traditions like leave out cookies and milk for Santa. It was also a very relaxed christmas, they're were no arguments and fights. Its just a loving time to spend time with your family and catch up with things. What I love the most is that no one really has a lot of responsibilities during the holiday break so no one was very stressed.
ReplyDeleteI love your description! I feel the same way.
Deletewhen I was ten and I went to this snowboarding place and I tried snowboarding for the first time it was probably one of my best experiences in the winter, I had such a great time because not only was it my first time snowboarding but it was also was great because I had a lot friends there with me.
ReplyDeleteNice! I never went snowboarding but I bet it is a lot of fun
DeleteI remember one christmas when my mom and I went to my hometown and spent the christmas together. On Christmas eve my mom let me open all of my presents. I remember being really happy and excited to open my presents. It was a while ago, but what I remember from it was being very happy, calm and at peace. Spending that christmas with my mom was the best thing I could ask for.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like an amazing memory!
DeleteProbably my best winter experience was when I was 8 and I believed in Santa. As we always do each year we celebrated Christmas with my cousin my uncle and aunt and we had fun. We spend our winter break in Florida though so there is no snow and we use a palm tree as a Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteThats great! It must be great in Florida!

DeleteThat's cool that you spend your Christmas in Florida
DeleteWell, I never had winter christmases, but my summer ones were always good. My best memory is when I spent it on my aunt's house and we danced all night, and there were even some people in costumes. It had a table of food, really loud music and a lot of people. It was super hot so all the windows were open even though the mosquitoes were biting us. So, we had a lot of fun that night.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!
DeleteMy best christmas experience was when I got to see my entire family because we don't all live in the same part of Canada and one of my cousins lives in Australia. It is nice to catch up on how they are doing especially on christmas since we get presents. The other thing that I like a lot about christmas is the food since there is a lot of varieties you can choose from.
ReplyDeleteI still dont believe your part austalian and italian,
DeleteI don't have winter holiday memories but my favorite summer holiday memory is a summer when I went to my grandma's farm with my whole family, cousins, uncles and aunts. I was 9 years old and we played a lot, milked the cow, swam on the lake, ate a lot of barbecue, camped, played with the horses, did some exploration and we had the best Christmas together.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds quite nice.
DeleteMy favorite Christmas holiday memory would be last year’s Christmas because that was the last time I shared a holiday with my grandmother. She had recently died and I am currently here in her home town for her funeral. She was kind but strict and was quite the baker. I still remember the taste of her Christmas cookies, and the day after Christmas was also very good because she would make us a really good chicken pot pie with the leftovers from Christmas dinner. #RestInPiece
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. She sounds like a great person.
DeleteMy favorite Christmas memory was when I ate so much food I couldn't walk for a couple of hours because it hurt to much. I was just lying down watching tv and wondering why I ate so much food.
ReplyDeletewow what you eat?
DeleteMy favourite holiday memory is when I was very young. Each Christmas, I always go to my Grandfather and Grandmothers house where we celebrate Christmas. I always get to see my entire family, eat lunch there, and then we would open the presents. This particular year, I remember I was with my cousins, and we were waiting for lunch to be made. While we were waiting, we were playing hide and seek! It might not not seem like an extraordinary moment, but this was one of our greatest bonding moments as kids.
ReplyDeleteMy best winter holiday memory was when I was seven years old and my cousins from out of town came to visit for the holidays. On that same night there was a huge snow storm and the snow was up to my bellybutton. For the entire day, my cousins, brother and I were playing in the snow for the entire day making snow forts and having snowball fights. It was the best winter holiday memory I've ever had.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday memory was when I was younger and I used to go to my cousins house and we would stay up late to see if Santa was coming. When Santa would finally come he would bring us presents and me and my cousins would have so much fun opening them and see what we would get, then we would play with our toys and then we would go home.
ReplyDeletemy favorite holiday memory is all of them but my favorite one has to be this year because i moved to a new city and im closer to my aunt and uncle and we can then all meet each other for Christmas what i like the most about my favorite Christmas memory is spending time together and just siting and in joying Christmas all together and eating chocolate fundo.
ReplyDeletecool. sounds relaxing.
DeleteMy favorite holiday memory is this one because the night before I took this picture because at the christmas party my whole entire family was there and there was alot of presents and a lot of random stuff that happened that night.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite holiday memory is when we went to the U.S.A and I got to meet my family there. We had so much fun. We were outside the whole day and we got to know each other a lot better. I was the youngest there so I also got the most attention and that was fun. That was when I got to learn how to make a proper snowball and ice skate. I got so many things that year. I was like 10 during this time. I can't wait to go back this year.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Christmas memory would be sitting at the table at my dads house with the whole family until 2 in the morning, my aunts and uncles all drinking and talking with everybody as comfortable as can be. This happens every second year because I'm with my mom as well, but I can't wait for this year !!!! I'm also very excited for the many gifts I will receive:))
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Christmas moment is everyday going to the outdoor rink and play hockey from morning to night. And sometime my grandpa and my dad would go out and skate with me as well. When I would get home my legs would be so tired that I would not be able to walk.
