Your BLOG topic is FREE CHOICE! You could blog about whatever it is you want, except what you've already blogged about! You could go on a rant or you could simply blog about something important to you.
Be creative and write about something you feel important or something you would like to tell your audience. Avoid the cliche and write about something you are passionate about.
You must remember your audience. It is not simply me (Mr. Katz) reading this blog!
If you will be ranting about a certain individual, you need to leave their name out of this. You could give them a pseudonym or simply leave their name as anonymous.
Make sure your language is appropriate. Do not go on swearing tangents.
Something fairly important to me would be where I live. People always try and find the safest neighbourhood or most secluded, like a suburb or the country, but personally I feel like the atmosphere shapes a person. In my eyes, I think the city is one of the best places to live. It is cultural and has many things going on, so you can hardly ever be bored! More likely with a city, there are many more things closer to your own home. I would most likely want to move back into the city, maybe around where i used to live when i was younger, because it was never a dull moment!

DeleteI'm going to rant about these free topic choices. I have no imagination so these are actually hard, if you give me a topic to write about it's way easier. You can already tell I don't have an imagination because I'm ranting about blogs in a blog. Mr. Katz whether your like Mr. Allali and have people to correct for you as he likes to calm them "the people" or you read this yourself stop giving me free blogs!!!

DeleteI would like to blog about the NHL playoffs. I would like to blog about this because there is a lot of people talking about it and it is the time of the year where all hockey fans get very involved in watching the hockey games. I find the playoffs very enjoyable to watch because its when all hockey players try there best and if they are going to hit someone they are going to try to injure them for the rest of the season. That is one of the multiple reasons why I like the playoffs so much.

DeleteIm going to blog about a part of my trip in Florida. So in the camp, its a tradition every year that the boy cabin and the girls cabin prank each other. Are cabin didn't know about this tradition, so we were surprised when they pranked us. The first prank was from the boys. At 2 am they came and played really loud music coming from a speaker right by my window to wake us up. They came back 3 times! My friend tried to run out the door but they duck taped the door down. It was hard to go back to sleep but it was hilarious. So our prank in revenge was going in to their cabin and spraying silly string everywhere. Their prank in return, was tying our beds to the ceiling and basically messing up our organization. So we made cupcakes, but put extra very disgusting and spicy ingredients for the boys, and made a good batch for us. In return they put sunscreen in our shampoo. The pranks were very funny (especially when it was us pranking them) but annoying.

DeleteI would like to talk about music. Music is something that helps me motivate myself, stay focused, and relax. As many of my classmates probably know being a teenager isn’t easy, so music is something that helps bad times, not seem so bleak. It also gives me confidence, and happiness. I love music and I don't know what I’d do without it.

Deletewhat's really big for me is the NBA Playoffs its important that the raptors beat Indiana in the first round or else it will be a big embarrassment. every year its the same thing we work our asses of in the regular seasons just so we can lose in the first round of the playoffs.I still can't belive they've lost game one already and Demar and Lowry are doing terrible and jv get's fouled out first game, you can tell the refs weren't on our side.

This year every Canadian team had a bad season. One of the most surprising team that didn't make it is the Montreal Canadians they started the season 9-0, but i dont really care bout that this year its all about the Capitals.#RockTheRed
ReplyDeleteFor this blog I guess I'll write about the weather. Lately, I've been spending all of my time outside. I love the weather the most when it's really hot out with a nice breeze. I've been spending all of my free time outside with my friends, family or even just my dogs. I love being able to go to bed with my windows opened and listening to the wind blow and then later on wake up to the sound of birds singing. It makes me feel a lot more more motivated to wake up and go to school and have a better day than in winter. I feel way more moody in winter while in summer almost nothing can upset me.

DeleteThis blog I will be talking to you about the best team in the NHL the New York Islanders. Ever since the Canadiens traded halak to the islanders they made the playoffs twice in he row,so I think that halak is the main reason of the islanders being the best team in the NHL. Also halak brought the Canadiens to the division finals but then lose.so I think it was a big mistake keeping price over halak because look who's in the playoffs and who's not. I also think the two teams playing in the finals of the playoffs will be Washington and Islanders. Islanders will win in 5.
ReplyDeleteFor this blog I want to talk about how excited I am to go back to Brazil. We only have two months left in Canada so we’re trying to enjoy every single thing from here but the truth is I can’t wait to see my family and my old friends. Canada is also a very good country and even though all the problems that Brazil is currently going through, I’m looking forward to go. The thing I most miss from there is definitely the food. No offense, but canadian food will never be as good as brazilian I already had a bunch of dreams about eating food from my country, what is really strange actually.

I also like how there is no school in summer and it is just a free time to hang out with friends and do the things you love. Also I like the summer sports like swimming, playing soccer, etc. Summer is the best.
ReplyDeleteFor this blog I guess I will talk about the time I won a $60 video game from an arcade machine. While I was on March break I went to New Hampshire and in the hotel there was an arcade room. One day my dad gave me a few quarters to play any game but I decided I wanted to try this game called Stacker. What you had to do is get blocks on top of each other without making them fall. I could of gotten a pretty bad prize worth a dollar but since I didn't want none of that I went high stakes and managed to get a $60 dollar game. That was definitely the highlight of that vacation.

DeleteFor this blog i would gladly write about my trip to wheaton island now to get there we had to drive for 6 hours and then get on the boat we brought with us after about 30 minutes of driving the boat we find a old trail which we dock the boat at then we had to pick up the boat and bring it through the forest but it was to heavy so we used my dads uncles boat that was left the we walk was about 3 km with TONS of misqitos and then in the distance i could see the island. when i got home i had about 300 misqito bites on me.
ReplyDeleteFor this blog I will be talking about the time that my mom got my family a free whole week trip to Beaches resort in Negril, Jamaica. The way she got the trip is because she worked in the same company for 25 years so for her 25th anniversary they took her out to a restaurant and basically just gave a trip to anywhere we wanted to go and we chose and we picked Jamaica. (Just saying Jamaica is the best).

ReplyDeleteFor this blog im going to talk about how i cant wait to finish the school year. Im so exicited to do whatever i want and wake up whenever i want. No homework no pressure no worries. I might do somthing fun over the break but i dont know yet. Im scared for the exams but i have a feeling ill do well on them. Hopefully all my teachers are good next year and i get into high math and science because if i have those courses i can do almost anything in CEGEP. Thats good for me because i dont even know what i want to do with my life.
ReplyDeleteIn this blog i'm going to talk about my flute (well, the schools flute) and my experience learning the flute. So in grade 8 when I was in music I played the clarinet. However, I have always just loved the sound of the flute and the flute in general (especially the sound of their trills), it is absolutely beautiful. So I decided that I wanted to switch instruments. However, the only problem with switching instruments in music class, is most teachers aren't really open to the idea of their students switching instruments. Especially if you are good at your current one (and I was GOOD! at the clarinet). So what I did was I asked my teacher if I can LEARN the flute. So she let me take one out, and one of my good friends who plays the flute taught me how to play it. Also I took out the flute during the winter break and practised really hard (like 6 hours per day). Then, when I came back, my music teacher asked me if I wanted play the flute in class. I was so happy, and of course I said yes. When it was time for the music concert I made minimal mistakes and even though I wasn't that good at the time, it was still impressive that I was able to learn all of the pieces in a matter of a few months just after starting the flute. After that i've been practising the flute very hard and I LOVE playing it. I've also become very good at the flute, I joined the jazz band and the festival band on the flute. At this present day I still very passionate about the flute and love playing it.

ReplyDeleteWell, at this blog, I am going to talk about my summer camp. It is located at the North Carolina in the USA. There is a warf with bunch of motorboats and saidling boat. On the land, there is archery, golf, canals, zip line, soccer, basketball... I enjoy them a lot. I used to be a horrible sailing athlete, but now I got better so I don't crash other ball and get bit by the jellyfish. Yes, there is a lot of jellyfish, which I can't get rid of that. I really had a good time there.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I have nothing to write about because these free choice blogs are really hard to do but something that is important to me are the NHL Playoffs. It's an important time for me because that's when me and all my friends get roudy, argue and make bets on who's going to win the Stanley Cup. I also really like watching the playoffs because it really shows how good those teams that make do under pressure and it also shows a lot of character about a team also it's so damn great hockey to watch.

Finally the cold weather is coming to an end, and we could start wearing more of our favorite clothes outside and don't need to worry about bringing a jacket much anymore. It's hard to believe that the school year is already almost over.
