Unfortunately, the Habs did not make the playoffs and will not compete for the Holy Grail (Stanley Cup).
Are you a hockey fan? Are you disappointed the Habs did not make the playoffs?
What positives can come out of losing?
Who do you think will eventually win the Stanley Cup? Explain.
Yes i am a hockey fan, but i dont really care that the habs did not make the playoffs because im not a big habs fan the only two players that i like on that team is Carey Price and Brendan Gallagher. The positives that come out of losing is that they have a good chance at a really high draft pick and that they can regroup from this season. I think that the Washington Capitals will win the stanley cup this year because they are probably the best team in the NHL right now and have the most confidence going into the playoffs .But the team that i want to win is the Florida Panthers.
ReplyDeleteNice
Deletei agree!! :)
DeleteI am a hockey fan but I am kind of happy that the Habs didn't make it to the play offs. I am a New York Rangers fan and I do not like the habs. This just shows how dependent the Montreal Canadians are on their goal keeper. Ever since Price got injured they went on a losing streak for almost twenty games, that is how dependent they are on him. But since hey didn't make it they could pick a good person from the draft and continue their team rebuild.
ReplyDeleteI kind of consider myself a hockey fan, I use to watch it a lot but now I don't really. If it is on I will watch it, I don't really care about the habs not making the playoffs, I find they rely on Price to much and they should learn how to win without him. I don't have a prediction on who will win the stanley cup.
ReplyDeleteYes the Montreal Canadiens need Cary price
DeleteI don't really like the Habs as wells
DeleteNo I am not a hockey fan, I don’t watch hockey because I find it really boring. Some positives that can come out of loosing are that next time they will work and play harder. Also you learn from your mistakes so maybe the habs won’t make the same mistakes and they can win next time. I don’t know who would win the Stanley cup because like I said I don’t watch hockey.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, they lost but next time they will be way more prepared and maybe win
DeleteNo, I'm definitely not a hockey fan. Here in Canada, the game is more of a cultural thing, and since In Brazil it doesn't snow they don't play this sport. There, the most common sport is soccer. I'm not a soccer fan though. Actually, I'm not a fan of any sports because I really have no interest in them. I think that a lot of positive things can come from losing. It makes you learn valuable lessons and it gives you an opportunity to try again and be better.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, hockey isn't my thing.

ReplyDeleteIm not really a hockey fan, but if others are watching it I wouldn’t mind watching it as well. I would be disappointed if I were a fan, but i’m not, so not particularly. Losing isn’t easy, and can be frustrating. It can teach us that although you loose there are many other opportunities, and its a chance to see if you would persevere if something didn’t go your way.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I think that some people don't know how to loose.

ReplyDeleteEven though I'm not a big fan of hockey, it's disappointing to know that our home team didn't make it to the playoffs. I think losing can be a good thing because it teaches you of your mistakes and helps you know your weaknesses and what to improve to come back stronger. Hopefully, the Habs knew what they did wrong and will come back better next season.
ReplyDeleteI am a big hockey fan however I also cheer for the Ny islanders. And the islanders are making the play offs so I hope that they will win the Stanley cup. I'm not disappointed on the habs making the playoffs offs because I have another team in the play offs that I am hoping that they will win. And if they Finnish near the bottom they will have a better overall draft pick.
ReplyDeleteI consider myself a hockey fan since I follow the NHL and I usually keep up to date with all the news and the scores of every night. My favorite team is definitely not the Montreal Canadiens, and it's is a shame to see that they can only have a chance to compete for the playoffs if they have Carey Price.
ReplyDeleteThe team that I'll be rooting for in the playoffs is St. Louis because they never win against Chicago and I would really like to see a different team winning the cup for once.
Montreal is better than Buffalo Alex except for this season.
DeleteI like you're blog, I thought you would just go down with Ryan Miller instead of rooting for other teams.
DeleteI dont really consider myself as a hockey fan because I dont really follow the team I just watch the hockey games from time to time. Im a little disappointed that the Habs didnt make it to the playoffs but there always the next like season of hockey for a chance for them to make it to the playoffs. They probably will win a Stanley Cup eventually but I dont see them winning anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteSame but i believe someday theyll win
DeleteI am not a fan of watching Hockey although I love playing it with friends. I never get around to actually watching it and not enough friends actually care enough to talk about it with me since they know I don't watch it so I have no clue what's happening. I hope that someone's favourite team in here can with the Stanley Cup and make many people's days.
ReplyDeleteI wish the same to other people as well.
DeleteI am not a hockey fan because I don't play hockey and there' isn't hockey in China. If I am a hockey fan from Quebec, I will disappoint. How I knew? That is because I saw habs logo everywhere in Montreal. And I know that hockey is very dangerous for those who is not strong. But I wish I can play hockey because hockey is very fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge hockey fan i even play hockey, I am super disappointed in the Habs they were doing so well at the beginning and i had so much faith for them but than TBH when Carey left it went down hill from there, Carey i think is not only an amazing goalie but i think he keeps the team together, once he left the team was falling apart. well losing can make you improve for the next game. I think the Washington Capitals or Pittsburgh Penguins.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a very big hockey fan when I was younger, but now not so much. I lost interest in it about 3 years ago. I don’t really care that the Habs did not make the playoffs but I’m a bit surprised that no Canadian team made it this year. The team I want to win the Stanley cup is the Blues, although I don’t know if they are in the playoffs or not.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge hockey fan and it was an extremely disappointing season for the Montreal Canadians. They started off so well and they finished the season terribly. I think a lesson that we can come away with from this season is GET BETTER PLAYERS. Get some people that can score. We have such a cheap team and won't pay for any superstar players. The only superstars that we have on the team are Subban and Price. However, now I can watch the playoffs stress free. In my opinion, I think Chicago or LA Kings will win the Stanley Cup because they both have a lot of experience in the playoffs. I think Dallas will come close but since they hardly have any playoff experience, they won't win the Stanley Cup and same thing for Washington.
ReplyDeleteI'm a pretty big fan too!
DeleteNo im not a hockey fan. As a kid i used to love it but i slowly lost interest in it. Even though im not a hockey fan im still disappointed that the habs didnt make the playoffs. I think losing isnt always that bad because you can learn from your mistakes and you get some practice. I think the habs will win the grey cup again someday... hopefully.
ReplyDeleteI’m not a hockey fan at all, because I am from Brazil and people only care about soccer there. Even though they are completely different sports they have one thing in common: how passionate people are about it. People in Brazil think about soccer 24 7 and I feel like some people here are the same about hockey. I went to one Canadiens game at Bell Center and it was really nice, I was surprised by how canadians really love it. I also think that hockey is a really violent sport, and I don’t like it. But maybe, if I was from Montreal I would love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not that much of a big hockey fan. However, I do enjoy playing the sport and watching it from time to time. And I am pretty disappointed that the montreal canadians or any Canadian hockey team made it to the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteBut maybe one year we'll win the Stanley cup. However, you have to remember the real looser in this situation is rogers (cell phone company) because they bought all of the rights to the Canadian hockey playoff games. Take it this way, imagine you purchase a monopoly for a product that doesn't even exist. Thats the situation that rogers is going through.
Not a hockey fan What you like?
DeleteYes I am a hockey fan and im happy they didn't make it because im not a habs fan but i do like the pitsberg penguins and thats the team I think is going to win because they have been playing so good recently they won 38 game and lost 13 and i think there going to win.
ReplyDeleteEmilie Walford
ReplyDeleteI love the Habs! So I was disappointed when they didn't make the playoffs. But they ended strong. I do think that they could win the Stanley Cup again, especially with Price, Subban, Paciorety and Gallagher!
